Philip Spellacy has taught in school, college and university settings throughout the British Isles and abroad.

Previous clients also include the British Council, the Commonwealth Institute, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and the National Media Museum Bradford.

He has held artists residencies in school settings in Yorkshire, and contributed to OFSTED's Review of Work by Artists in Schools as well as being a participating artist in the School Curriculum Development Committee's 'Artists in Schools' research programme.

He has also worked with an extremely wide range of people from a diversity of backgrounds including those with Learning Disabilities, young people experiencing disadvantage and alienation as well as those in prisons and secure settings.

In the main his teaching was practical in nature and took the form of workshops in various creative art forms such as sculpture, murals, painting, drawing, mixed media and shadow theatre technique.

Philip is no longer teaching on a regular basis but is happy to consider giving occasional talks and lectures.
